Awesome staff and very knowledgeable, and very affordable. They make you feel at ease, and treat your fur babies with love and compassion. I love these people! Doctor Shamblin is so sweet and friendly, and he truly loves his work. I would recommend them to anyone! I don't trust anyone else with my little furry babies!
The older front desk woman called my male two year old cat an IT several times and didn’t understand why I came to check on him while he was recovering from surgery. She just kept saying “it’s not ready to be picked up yet” it’s not a burger... it’s like my baby.. I just wanted to see if he was recovering well. She’s not that empathetic or socially intelligent. The other front desk assistant was okay but was kindve vulgar talking about him getting “his nuggets cut off” for neutering. Very trashy staff. The vet and the nurses are kind though, the pricing is good, and the student discount is helpful. Overall, it’s not the classiest place I would want my belongings to be in...but it’s the most affordable thing. If there was another place affordable I would leave in a heartbeat.
I didn't realize I hadn't rated this great vet staff yet! We've used them for years for our 5 dogs/2 cats. During our most recent trauma, this team and the emergency vet next door literally saved the life of my Standard Poodle when his gall bladder ruptured. They stablelized him and sent us to Ms. State and ultimately helped him heal with excellent follow-up care. I trust Dr. Shamblin and his staff with the lives of my furry family members. The rates are very reasonable and they accept Care Credit for those emergency vet bills.
