We are regulars at the hwy 43 location and we have never had a problem there. I really hate to talk bad about it but I had to share my experience.

Los Tarascos is always great food on a budget. The one on why 82 in Tuscaloosa so much surpasses all other restaurants around. I'm not sure how to spell it, but my waiter's name was Chano. He is freaking awesome. Everything was the way it should be. He really took our dining experience to a whole other level with his professionalism and punctual service. Will return to this location many times.
I LOVE Los Tarascos, but not this location.
We went on Sunday night as a family. Our waiter wrote our order down on a napkin. When it was time for our food to come out he comes to tell us that he got the napkin wet and couldn't read it. So we had to wait forever for our food. And the food was horrible. The shrimp tasted like the precooked shrimp you get from Wal-Mart and they cooked it in the microwave. The guacamole tasted like it had been sitting out for a day or 2.
I had a very good grilled shrimp salad. The sala is very good.
Food Service and Price they are just hard to beat !
