Scheduled a pick up for 1pm at 9am I literally live 3 miles away... well over 30 minutes later no pick up. Was informed the store has NO manager and the general manager has phone cut off... UPDATE almost had to walk home.. emailed the response from (STACY) to this review promptly STILL NO REPLY from (STACY) or any other fictional representative. Customer service is an honest JOKE they only respond on here to make themselves look good.. How pathetic..
This location has always had excellent service until today. Apparently when there are more activiy/customers (eclipse event) the company fails clients who have online reservations. I was not made aware of the location not having a single vehicle available until 30 mins before my pick up time. Luckily someone dropped off one just before I left. Sadly the office uses a garbage application for accepting payments and my card was decline (although I had more than enough to cover my quoted fee). Have never had an issue with transferring money to my account and using my debit card immediately afterwards. I blame the app. They should probably get that fixed before I ever atempt to return. On the bright side avis at the airport had plenty of vehicles available and just gained a new client.
I had o good experience last week with these guys. Good car. Good experience. There was only this thing about the gas. They asked me return the car filled out but when they gave me the car it wasn't all filled out. Anyways I returned as I suppose to. I hope I get all filled out the next time because it probably will have one.
Tried to rent a car. Wasn’t informed until the day before that if I was using a debit card I had to have pay stubs and utility bills with me. Was not informed until I got to the location (an hour from home) that there was an additional security deposit that could not be waived. Even after swiping my card I couldn’t fix the funds and then rent the car because they can only swipe your card once in 24 hours. So needless to say I didn’t get this car and Avis has won another customer.
I was informed the ride I had was great on gas. Since I was travelling out of state, I was excited about that. But that was not to be. I am extreme disappointed. But I must admit my disappointment notwithstanding, the guys who attended to me were awesome.
